Description: Pertactin is the virulence factor protein present in the out membrane by the gram negative bacterium Bordetella pertussis which causes pertussis or whooping cough. This recombinant protein is the partial sequence amino acids 329-564, coding for virulence factor (passenger domain), with a ‘C’ terminal His-tag and molecular weight 25359.5 daltons and pI 7.15.
