Description: The HL-60 cell line was derived from peripheral blood leukocytes obtained by
leukopheresis of a 36-year-old Caucasian female with acute promyelocytic leukemia. It was among the first long-term suspension cultures of human myeloid leukaemic cells to be established.

Growth Mode: Suspension

Subculture: Split culture when about 80% confluent and re-seed at about 10000 cells per mL.

Uses: For virus titration, generation of recombinant cell lines and protein production.
For laboratory research use only.

Storage: Store frozen vials in liquid nitrogen at -196˚C. Do not store at -80˚C freezer.
