Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Do not allow victim to rub eyes or keep eyes closed. Seek medical advice.

Skin: Immediately wash skin with copious amounts of water. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.

Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention for any breathing difficulty.

Ingestion: If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Get medical attention immediately.

Other: Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.

 

Section 5.FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

General Information: As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed

containers cool. Use extinguishing media appropriate to the surrounding fire. Substance is non-combustible.

Spills/Leaks: Avoid runoff into storm sewers and ditches which lead to waterways. Clean up spills immediately, observing precautions in the Protective Equipment section. Absorb spill using an absorbent, non-combustible material such as earth, sand, or vermiculite. Do not use combustible materials such as saw dust. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.
