Description: The anti-human IgG3 polyclonal antibody is a type of antibody that is derived from a diverse population of B cells, each producing antibodies against the IgG3 subclass of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies in humans. IgG3 has been associated with enhanced control or protection against a range of intracellular bacteria, parasites, and viruses. IgG3 Abs are potent mediators of effector functions, including enhanced ADCC, opsonophagocytic, complement activation, and neutralization, compared with other IgG subclasses. They are particularly effective in the induction of effector functions. Being a potent proinflammatory antibody, its shorter half-life may function to limit the potential of excessive inflammatory responses.
