Product: Ferret IgG Native Protein
Catalog No.: 117455
Alternate Names: IgG, Immunoglobulin-G
Description: The Ferret is the most commonly used animal model for studying influenza pathogenesis, virus transmission, and vaccine development, but it's IgG structure and functions remain largely undefined. Ferret IgGs are N-glycosylated and their N-glycan structures are diverse. Extensive study of the cellular immune system's response to the flu has shown it to be very similar in ferrets and humans. Studies using ferrets have shown that the cellular immune system is necessary for recovery from influenza infection.
