Description: Hamster IgG is recognized by monoclonal anti-hamster IgG. Primary antibodies have regularly been produced using hamster monoclonal antibodies. Therefore, hamster immunoglobulin-specific secondary antibodies are extremely useful tools to perform immunoassays with hamster-derived antibodies. Monoclonal anti-hamster IgG can be a crucial tool in many applications, especially when employed in immunohistochemistry since it lacks binding ability to human, bovine, horse, goat, pig, rabbit, rat, mouse, or chicken IgG. Additionally, since the production of monoclonal anti-hamster IgG takes place in a bioreactor, it is free of the endogenous mouse proteins found in ascites fluid, which might cause non-specific staining.
