Product: Anti Alpaca IgG2 Polyclonal Antibody
Catalog No.: 111071
Description: IgG2 is a non-canonical immunoglobulin produced in camelids. It is known as heavy chain (or heavy chain-only) antibodies with a long hinge region (46kDa). It is present in the first fraction of the protein G column in affinity chromatography. Anti-Alpaca IgG2 + IgG3 is ideally suited to measure heavy chain antibody serum conversion to enable optimal timing of PBMC harvest and to increase the yield for VHH library construction. After immunization with the antigen of interest, ELISA was used to characterize the specific antibody response.
