Description: NSP1 is one of the four nonstructural proteins of Chikungunya virus (CHIKV)
which forms the replication complex in the cytoplasm of infected cells. The NSP1 contains Methyltransferase (MT) activity. CHIKV, a member of the alphaviruses, is a mosquito-borne virus, which has created an alarming threat in the world due to unavailability of vaccine and antiviral compounds.
