Product: Anti Ferret IgA Polyclonal Antibody
Catalog No.: 112075
Description: Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is an antibody that plays a critical role in mucosal immunity. IgA has two subclasses (IgA1 and IgA2) and can exist in a dimeric form called secretory IgA (sIgA). Ferrets (Mustela putorius furo) have been employed to study the pathogenesis of a variety of human pathogens, including human and avian influenzas, coronaviruses including severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV), human respiratory syncytial virus (HRSV), human metapneumovirus (HMPV), Ebola virus and Henipavirus (Nipah virus and Hendra virus). Anti-Ferret IgA (alpha chain) Antibody is ideal for investigators in Cancer, Immunology, and Microbiology research. It is a well-established model for studying both the pathogenesis and transmission of human respiratory viruses and evaluation of antiviral vaccines.
