Description: Glucosylsphingosine is a cytotoxic compound. Accumulation of glucosylsphingosine in
brain and other tissues occurs in patients with Gaucher disease, which is an inherited deficiency of lysosomal glucocerebrosidase. Glucocerebrosidase converts glucosylsphingosine to glucose and sphingosine.
Immunogen: Glucosylsphingosine linked to a carrier protein.
