Product: Anti Human Lambda Light Chain Polyclonal Antibody
Catalog No.: 121147
Description: The immunoglobulin light chain is the smaller subunit of an antibody and in humans can be expressed in two types: as a kappa (kappa) or a lambda (lambda) chain. Light chains are proteins produced by immune cells called plasma cells. Also called kappa and lambda light chains, they link together with other proteins (heavy chains) to form antibody that target and neutralize specific threats to the body such as bacteria and viruses. Antibodies are produced by B-Cells that are clonal and each express only one type of light chain.
