Description: This monoclonal antibody is specific to the lambda light chain of immunoglobulin and shows no cross-reaction with lambda light chain or any of the five heavy chains. The protein encoded by this gene LcN-2 is a neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin and plays a role in innate immunity by limiting bacterial growth as a result of sequestering iron-containing siderophores.
