Description: Use this reagent for selecting hybridoma clones after fusion. Contains Hypoxanthine, Aminopterin and Thymidine in proper proportion in a balanced salt solution. This is cell culture tested and optimized for selection of fused spleen cells with Ag8, SP2/O, NS1, or NS0 cell lines. This comes as sterile ready to use solution. Usage: Use 1 mL of 50x HyHAT to 50mL Completed Hybridoma Fusion and Cloning Media. Complete Hybridoma Media containing 1x HyHAT may be prepared and stored in refrigerator and used within a month. Complete Hybridoma Fusion and Cloning Media may be prepared by adding HyMax to 1x to standard DMEM media with or without serum and other supplements and antibiotics.
Format: Provided as 50x concentrate of a sterile filtered, tissue culture tested, ready to use solution. Never frozen.
Storage: Store at 4°C - 8°C in refrigerator until use. Do not freeze.
Stability: 18 months when stored at 4°C - 8°C in refrigerator as recommended.
